The site is based right in front of the main farm house with sixty pitches. If you’d prefer the indoors the site has a bunk house with basic accommodation. English breakfasts are available!

The campsite itself is owned by the Peak District National Park Authority and is based at the Moorland Visitor Information centre.

The site is spread across six fields including a dedicated family field and a riverside field for backpackers only. Open all year round, this idyllic site is perfect for walkers looking to tackle the Pennine Way.

“A lovely family friendly little site, extremely secluded, but not too out of the way.

They have their own free range chickens, my son loved watching them. There is a lovely play park for the kids.

This was a lovely, safe, clean, relaxed park set on what looks like an old Orchard, going in September meant we had our fill of free apples of all different varieties, I took enough home to make a delicious apple crumble. We will definitely be returning next year.”
