Known locally as Robbie Love’s Campsite, Trenant Steading is based on the North Cornall Heritage Coast and for the less heritage inclined, a cult site for young surfers looking to catch the waves at Polzeath.

Robbie Love’s is the anti-Camping Club, facilities are a little rustic but who cares when you’ve drank your weight in alcopops?

Not a site to be bound by rules, Robbie Love’s is a true party site. Robbie doesn’t mind what you get up to, his is a cider.

North Morte Farm

North Morte Farm is only 500 yards from Rockham Beach and set in some of the south west’s most spectacular countryside.

Woolacombe is nearby offering a sandy beach and surfing. The south-west coast path can be directly accessed from the site and is only 5 minutes from the village of Mortehoe.

The site has a good range of facilities but doesn’t take advance bookings.

Hollings Hill farm

Part of Feather Down Farm network of pre-pitched tents with a ‘luxury rustic’ feel, Hollings Hill Farm is a working dairy farm set at the foot of the Malvern Hills east of Hereford.

The tents boast real furniture, wood burning stoves and access to a spa and ‘slow food’ shop. If you want to give you family a taste of the country side whilst revelling in glamping luxury this is the site to try.

Yurt Camp

Yurt Camp Devon is one of a number of dedicated glamping sites that have sprung up in the past few years to cater for the increased interest in holidaying at home or the unfortunately named ‘staycation’

But look beyond the buzz words and you have a site set in 40 acres of beautiful Devon Woodland with 15 yurts sleeping up to 6 people. The yurts are handmade by Yurt Camp Devon and are slightly larger than traditional yurts, they also feature a stunning clear dome to let the outdoors indoors.

The site boasts a fully licensed cafe bar, skittle alley, pool table and playing fields.

Eweleaze Farm

Eweleaze Farm only opens from 3rd to the 31st of August making pitches as rare as the site’s name (pronounced you-leeze). With campfires allowed and a private beach the site has a unique festival atmosphere when open.

It’s Campr 100 nomination speaks for itself:

“Beautiful family run farm, which opens up in August only for camping. Steps direct down to private cove on Jurassic coast, fires and BBQ’s are welcome on the beach which proves a wonderful atmosphere on a summers evening.

Family friendly, with lots to do in the area, lots of cows and sheep to pet. Farm shop onsite selling their own produce, amazing cuts of fresh meat, eggs and milk all direct from the farm.
Heaven on earth (in the UK!)”

Stoke Barton Farm

Based on a working live stock and arable farm near Hartland Point on the North Devon coast, Stoke Barton is owned and run by a family who have farmed locally for generations.

Troytown Farm

Perched on the western age of St. Agnes, Troytown Farm runs right down to the foreshore. The remote island boasts panoramic views of the Atlantic and is only a mile across, so winter camping is probably the best chance you’ll get to pretend you’re a mad hermit surviving on your own (served by a handy shop selling seasonal produce).
