Cath Kidston has gone camping with it’s new range of outdoor homeware. The middle classes favourite supplier of vintage, retro-chic glamping accessories has outdone itself this year with some cool camping gear that will enliven any campsite.
Badge Blanket
The Badge blanket references your scouting days with it’s retro badges depicting classic British imagery. However this time you won’t need to tie 8 unfathomable knots to have the honour of owning the badges. The 166×166 cm blanket is 50% wool and 50% man made fibre with a quaint strap to hold it in place before that picnic you’ve been hankering after all summer. The badge blanket buys you a little bit of your childhood back for £60.
Hurricane Lantern
The hand painted Hurricane Lantern is very much a statement of style of lighting power but it’s effortless chic will put anyone’s ’torch’ to shame. The 34×14.5cm paraffin lantern is bargain at £8.
Cherry 2 Person Picnic Hamper
The Cherry 2 person picnic hamper is bursting with 1950s camping style and includes two cherry tea plates, two salt and pepper cellars, two cherry arcylic tumblers, two cherry napkins, two cutlery sets and a cherry sandwich box. The Cherry 2 person picnic hamper will set you back £85.
Check Rug
The Cath Kidston check rug is ideal for spreading on the floor of a teepee or to replace the blanket that’s sat in the back of the Range Rover for the last three summers is starting to look a little tired. It’s striped pattern co-ordinates beautifully with the Cath Kidston camping range making the purchase of a complete set an almost nessecity. The Check Rug is £30.
Cherry Cool Bag
The Cherry cool bag makes a sometimes ugly object beautiful again. The satisfaction in cracking open a cool Chardonnay after a maddening drive down to Devon on a bank holiday makes camping worthwhile. The Cherry Cool Bag is made of PVC coated 100% cotton duck and costs £30.

I love the Hurricane Lantern!
That badge blanket is so cool, bit more pricey than the ones I had in scouts mind!
I’ve just bought one of the Cath Kidston first aid kits, hope nobody injures themselves as it’s too nice to use! http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-15996-cath-kidston-first-aid-kit.aspx
I bought one of the new box teepees and love it! It’s bigger than the pictures suggest and can’t to try out a little bit of glamping when it stops raining!
One thing I was wondering is do you know if they’re releasing some regular tents? My daughter wants one for Glastonbury and I don’t want her to take the Teepee! I see you have some of the tents listed on eBay so might try bidding there.
