Hawkshead Bullfinch Fleece review

Jazz up your summer camping wardrobe with this fashionable fleece, says Gillian Hook.

Hawkshead Bullfinch Fleece

Made from a soft, downy microfibre, this lightweight fleece is perfect for taking the chill off in the evening as you lounge around the campsite, après barbecue, wondering whether to open that second bottle of wine.

Made from 100% polyester, it has a half zip to keep you snug if a chill sets in. And the classic cut means it looks just as good if you decide to prop up the bar in a local pub instead.

The fleece comes in three colourways: duck egg, foxglove and the amaryllis shown here. The sleeve length is spot-on, the body shape is neat without being too clingy and it sits nicely on the hips.

It has the good quality you’d expect of Hawkshead, comes in sizes 10 to 20 and is machine washable.

And of course you should have that second bottle of wine!
