The PRIMUS EtaExpress Gas Stove is a lightweight one-man gas stove aimed at backpackers. Designed to be ultra-efficient with a ‘heat exchanger’ system that increases the surface area so the pan absorbs heat more quickly. The EtaExpress includes a anodised aluminium one litre cooking pot, frying pan and wind shield.
As well as being highly efficient in use, the EtaExpress burner and gas cannister packs down inside the pan to save a bit more room. Whilst it’s aimed at the more adventurous outdoors type, it’s reasonable price (£59) puts in the sights of anyone who wants hot food on the go without the inconvenience of a heavy stove and fuel cannister.
