The festival season is on it’s way so I thought I’d put together a music themed post to celebrate the launch of Campr. But ripping of the Guardian’s Readers Recommend about feature is more difficult than you’d think, trawling through iTunes hasn’t revealed much in the way of camping inspired songs, it seems tent pegs and guy ropes haven’t got too many bands *cough* rocking.
Spotify has revealed a few gems like Tents Along the Water by the Skygreen Leopards so why not make it a shared experience? Take a look at the Campr playlist on Spotify and add your own musical gems. As soon as your start thinking about camp fires and battered acoustic guitars a whole world of (badly sung) music opens up and of course some of the best musical experiences of our lives take place in muddly fields with tents in the background.
